Tricentennial Banner Presented

SADDLE BROOK -- The First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook had sponsored a banner during Saddle Brook's tricentennial celebration in 2016. That banner was hung at the corner of Saddle River Road and Franklin Avenue from June through mid-November.

During last Sunday's worship service, however, that banner was presented back to Rev. Wolf and members of the congregation. Saddle Brook Mayor Robert White and Robert Kugler, Chairman of the Tricentennial Committee and Saddle Brook Police Chief, visited the congregation at the beginning of the service to formally present and return the banner.

"It was such a blessing for us to be a part of the tricentennial celebration. We had a wonderful banner presentation ceremony with Mayor White and Chief Kugler. It highlighted that a key part of our mission is to be a partner in Saddle Brook - to serve and care for people," said Rev. Christopher B. Wolf.

The video of this presentation is viewable on the Saddle Brook Township YouTube channel (see video above) and Saddle Brook TV (channel 77 on Cablevision and Channel 38 on Verizon FiOS).
