First Reformed Weekly ~ 4/2/2017 (Fifth Sunday in Lent)

Thank you for visiting to check out our weekly announcements. We had a blessed worship service this morning, as Pastor Christopher discussed new life and resurrection with the season of spring and the upcoming Holy Week.

Christopher's Chat

Christopher's Chat has returned this week after a break last week. This message also discusses the battle against temptations.

Women's Fellowship Update

It is hard to believe, but it has been 9 months since our last breakfast get-together. Let us welcome the warm weather and meet again to encourage, laugh, share stories, and pray for one another. We will meet at the Elmwood Park Diner (375 Market Street) next Saturday, April 8th at 9:30am. This is a wonderful time of fellowship with each other. Come check it out.....you will be blessed. CLICK HERE to visit our Women's Fellowship page to fill out the sign up form or sign up on the hallway bulletin board. Please indicate if you need a ride or can offer a ride.

Envelope of the Month

This month, we highlight the Book of Remembrance envelope. Donations to this fund can be made in memory or honor of a loved one or event. This envelope can also be used along with the forms on the table in the back of the sanctuary for donations for Easter lilies and Easter Book of Remembrance. Donations placed in this envelope are deposited into a separate fund and used for capital improvements for the church.

Easter Memorial Flowers and Book of Remembrance

Lilies will be placed in the Sanctuary for Easter Sunday on April 16th. If you would like to donate one in memory or honor of someone, you may do so. Donated plants may be picked up after the worship service on Easter. Forms are available on the table in the back of the sanctuary. The form, along with cash or your check, may be placed in the offering plate, mailed to the church, or given to Evelyn Leseberg. The deadline is Sunday, April 9th.
