First Reformed Weekly ~ 4/9/2017 (Palm Sunday)

Today is Palm Sunday. You may wonder the significance of this date. Palm Sunday marks the start of Holy Week and the remembrance of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. Pastor Christopher's message, "The Whole City Is Stirred", goes along with this remembrance. We recommend you read the following scripture passages: Psalm 118:1-2, 19-29 and Matthew 21:1-11.

The Sunday School participated in their annual Palm processional, which serves as a representation for Jesus' entry into Jerusalem.

We invite you to join us for our Holy Week and Easter services. The schedule is shown below near the end of these announcements.

Christopher's Chat

This week, we have a special Palm Sunday episode of Christopher's Chat. Please watch below:

This month, we highlight the Book of Remembrance envelope. Donations to this fund can be made in memory or honor of a loved one or event. This envelope can also be used along with the forms on the table in the back of the sanctuary for donations for Easter lilies and Easter Book of Remembrance. Donations placed in this envelope are deposited into a separate fund and used for capital improvements for the church.
