Good afternoon everyone! We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy and blessed Father's Day.
Today's message was "A Father's Love". It protects, guides and shapes. It's essential for our lives. From Our Father in Heaven to our earthly fathers. This message was based on Scripture from Proverbs 3:1-12.
We also celebrated the Sacrament of Baptism. We baptized Brenna Rose Festa as a new Sister in Christ. The choir sang a baptismal song, "God Claims You", as part of this celebration.
Pastor Christopher discussed his message, "A Father's Love" in this week's episode of Christopher's Chat. Please watch below:
OTHER CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Opportunities to Serve
We have updated the committee list, which is posted on the bulletin board in the hallway to the left of the upstairs kitchen. There is a description of each committee as well as the names of the chairpersons and members of each. We, as a community of believers, are called to serve God's church here at First Reformed. Please search your heart to see where the Holy Spirit guides you. "God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another." ~1 Peter 4:10 New Living Translation.
There are still open spaces available to host coffee hour following Sunday worship. Please check the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board outside the upstairs kitchen.
