This Week at First Reformed ~ 11/12/2017

Good afternoon everyone! We are getting ready for our Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Packing Party this afternoon at 3pm. More info is shown below.

Today, we welcomed Rev. Joanne Van Sant as our guest Pastor. Rev. Joanne is the pastor of Friends to Friends Community Church, an RCA congregation of uniquely able people, friends and family. She also serves as a part-time chaplain for the Eastern Christian Children's Retreat located in Wyckoff, NJ, a human services agency providing support services to people who are differently abled and uniquely gifted. Ordained PCUSA in 2012 and installed to Friends to Friends in 2015, she has recently completed her DMIN A Place at the Table, a perspective of the church and people with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. Pastor Joanne is new to Bergen County with this call. Prior to this, she lived in the Jersey Shore area for about 30 years. She is slowly adjusting to the long ride to the beach!

Pastor Christopher on Break

Pastor Christopher and his family will be on a break through November 13th (back in office on November 14th). Please pray for refreshment and rest. If you have any pastoral concerns during this time, please contact Elders Evelyn Leseberg or Julie Kooistra.
