Good afternoon everyone! This is the day that the Lord has made.
Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Today is the First Sunday of Advent. Advent is a time of waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ. Rev. Christopher Wolf's message was "For Those Who Wait For Him".
Today, we lit the first Advent candle. It is the candle of expectation and hope. God makes promises and fulfills them. We light the candle of hope with confidence that its light, as Christ does, overcomes the deepest darkness in this world and in our lives. We light the candle of hope believing that no darkness in this world can extinguish the light of God's promises in Christ.
Today's message was "For Those Who Wait For Him". The source of all true hope - is God. When we wait on, and trust in Him - grace, forgiveness, promises, things beyond expectation - all are possible.
Christopher's Chat, Pastor Christopher's weekly messages, discusses the true source of hope.
