In the Bible, and in our lives, darkness often points to absence - of light, of holiness, of God's presence. So when Isaiah talks of the light of the Lord taking over for the sun and moon, he's talking about God's presence. This is a perfect follow-up to Christmas. When Jesus arrived, everything changed - and continues to. His light, His presence in this world and in our hearts, scatters the darkness. Tomorrow, come hear and experience the everlasting light of God's presence in Christ.
