This Week at First Reformed ~ 12/31/2017

Good afternoon everyone! This is the day that the Lord has made.

Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Wishing you a blessed 2018!

Today's message was "Our Everlasting Light". In the Bible, and in our lives, darkness often points to absence - of light, of holiness, of God's presence. So when Isaiah talks of the light of the Lord taking over for the sun and moon, he's talking about God's presence. This is a perfect follow-up to Christmas. When Jesus arrived, everything changed - and continues to. His light, His presence in this world and in our hearts, scatters the darkness.

Christopher's Chat, Pastor Christopher's weekly messages, discusses the light of the Lord:
