This Week at First Reformed ~ 1/28/2018

Good afternoon everyone! This is the day that the Lord has made.

Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

This week, Rev. Christopher Wolf continued his sermon series about the meaning of church. For some, church=judgment, church=perfection, church=hypocrisy. This week's message was "Church=Together". Christopher's Chat, Pastor Christopher's weekly message, discusses this togetherness in church:

Envelope of the Month

The envelope of the month is your blue Assessment envelope. Our assessment for 2018 is $84.50 per person. As a reminder, the assessment is a fee we must pay to the RCA Classis each year. Any assessment money owed to Classis that is not collected in the blue envelopes must then be drawn from the general fund. Please see any Consistory member with questions.

Valentine's Day Luncheon

Our annual Valentine's Day Luncheon will be held on Sunday, February 11th immediately following worship. We are in need of salads and desserts. If you are planning on attending, we ask that you sign up ahead of time either on the hallway bulletin board or by filling out the online registration form by clicking HERE.

Congregational Meeting

The annual Congregational meeting will be held next Sunday, February 4th immediately following our Worship Service. The 2018 budget is available on the back table for you to take home and review. The Congregational Report will be emailed to all church members sometime this week.
