This Week at First Reformed ~ 3/4/2018

Good afternoon everyone! This is the day that the Lord has made.

Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

This morning, Rev. Christopher Wolf continued his Lenten series, "Journey to the Heart of God". Covenant, justice, mercy, holiness are the keys to God's heart. In this series, we are learning more about their nature, as well as how they apply to our daily lives. Today's message covered one of these keys to God's heart - covenant. This week's Christopher's Chat examines this key to God's heart.

Palm Sunday Breakfast

We invite you to our Palm Sunday breakfast following the service on Sunday, March 25th downstairs in the Van Wyk Fellowship Hall. Donations of bagels, fruit and muffins are needed. A sign-up sheet is now available on the hallway bulletin board. You may also sign up online by clicking HERE to access the electronic form.

Vacation Bible School

Come aboard and join us for an exciting week of Shipwrecked VBS from Monday, August 6th through Friday, August 10th, where we will learn how Jesus rescued us. We are still in need of many leaders and volunteers to faithfully lead the children down the Christian path. If you feel led to volunteer in this year's program, please sign up on the hallway bulletin board or online by clicking HERE to visit our VBS page. Thank you to all those who have already signed up to volunteer. For more information, please speak with Thomas Van Winkle.

Easter Memorial Flowers and Book of Remembrance

Lilies will be placed in the Sanctuary for Easter Sunday (April 1st). If you would like to donate one in memory or honor of someone, you may do so. Donated plants may be picked up after the worship service on Easter. Forms are available in your bulletin and on the table at the back of the Sanctuary. The form, along with cash or your check, may be placed in the offering plate, mailed to the church, or given to Evelyn Leseberg, Vice President of Consistory. The deadline is Sunday, March 25th.

Coffee Hour

Please check the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board outside the upstairs kitchen, and sign up if you are able to host coffee hour.
