Good afternoon everyone! This is the day that the Lord has made.
Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
This week marked the Fourth Sunday of Advent as we near the Celebration of Christ's Birth. All four Advent candles were lit today. The first candle is the candle of expectation and hope. The second candle is the candle of Peace. The third candle is the candle of Joy. The fourth candle is the candle of Love.
Today's message was "Now You Belong", based on the Scripture of Luke 1:26-38 and Ephesians 1:5-8. This week's Christopher's Chat discusses more about the Season of Advent and this message:
OTHER CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Christmas Eve Service
We invite you to our annual Christmas Eve candlelight service tomorrow night at 5:30pm. During this service, we will celebrate the Birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
If you would like to leave a Christmas Card for any church member, please drop it off in the box located on the back table in the Sanctuary.
**NEW** Multimedia Team Members
We are still looking for some volunteers to begin a multimedia team. You will utilize some basic skills. No prior experience required. This is a perfect service opportunity to "get your feet wet". Team members will provide a seamless feed of PowerPoint slides that will be projected on the screen for the congregation to view during our services. Team members will serve one Sunday a month. If you are interested, come speak to Jim Gilbert at the piano or drop him an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
