This Week at First Reformed ~ 12/29/2019

Good evening everyone! This is the day that the Lord has made.

Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

This week is the First Sunday after Christmas. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is enjoying the rest of the holiday season. We celebrated the Birth of Jesus Christ at our Christmas Eve service this past Tuesday.

Pastor Christopher's message for this morning was "Overwhelmed With Joy", based on scripture from Matthew 2:1-12.

We wish everyone a Happy New Year. We also invite you to join us as we kick off a year of Healing. More information on that below. Also, please be reminded there will be no Christianity 101 Adult Bible Study this week due to the New Year celebrations.

We invite you to join us for Epiphany Sunday worship next Sunday at 10:30am. We will have Communion (Sacrament of the Lord's Supper) during this service. Also, on Sunday, January 12th, we will install Mary Marino and Michael Coleman as Deacons on Consistory.

2020 - The Year of Healing at First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook

SADDLE BROOK - 2019 was a difficult, painful, dark year for so many in our congregation and community. And yet, while acknowledging all that happened, Pastor Christopher and The Consistory believe God is calling us to a year of healing in 2020. The kick-off for "2020 - The Year of Healing" will be Sunday, January 19th at 10:30am First Reformed Church of Saddle Brook, NJ, during which we will praise God, speak of the Kingdom and Pastor Christopher and the Elders will welcome anyone forward to be anointed with oil (from Jerusalem) and be prayed over. Please join in prayer and support for this blessed calling and mission.
