This Week at First Reformed ~ 2/17/2019
Good afternoon everyone! This is the day that the Lord has made.
Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Today, Pastor Christopher continued his series - "Not Finished Yet - How God Rescues". Through this series, you will hear something hopeful in your battles, trials and valleys.
We are excited to announce our church bell has been returned and restored. We are in the process of planning the bell shelter outside. In the meantime, it will be kept in the Sanctuary until it is dedicated in the Spring. Below is a video from members of the Confirmation Class with an update on this restoration project.
OTHER CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Musical Guests
Next Sunday, February 24th, we will have some special musical guests, Josiah and Kristen Van Dyck. Josiah is an accomplished oboist, and his wife, Kristen, is a successful violinist. They will bring special music and add beautiful music to our Sunday Worship. Take a moment this week and invite a friend or neighbor to join our worship service next Sunday at 10:30am. It promises to be a beautiful service.
RCA Assessment
Our RCA Assessment for 2019 is $86 per member. For your convenience, there are four blue envelopes (one per quarter) in your envelope box. As a reminder, the assessment is a fee we must pay to the RCA Classis every year. Any assessment money owed to Classis that is not collected in the blue envelopes must then be drawn from the general fund. Please contact any Consistory members with any questions.
Prayer Cloth Ministry

Have you have placed someone on the prayer list and would like to have a prayer cloth for them? Please contact Kathy Alia or Winnie Caputo. Prayer cloths are also available for special occasions such as baptisms, graduations, confirmations, births, marriages and special anniversaries. For more information on the prayer cloth ministry, click HERE.
Coffee Hour
Please check the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board outside the upstairs kitchen, and sign up if you are able to host coffee hour.
